To Define Biblical Truths, Research Is Necessary!

Revelation 21:4

Revelation 21:4
It is nice to see that individuals are talking about the Bible and wanting to share their beliefs, but I have to wonder if these are their beliefs due to their own intense research efforts or simply what their family taught them.

So far I have seen everyone going back and forth, each trying to explain their beliefs and insisting that each is right.

How can this be?

If there is only one true God, the Most High, who values truth, then there must be only one true religion, i.e., only one way that He wants to be worshiped. Does it seem logical that the one true God would approve of hundreds of different religions and denominations, each with their own differing ways of worship? They can’t all be represending Truth, can they?

Omitting, changing or rejecting words from the Bible when translated, doesn’t change God’s will or purpose for the earth, animals, plants or mankind. His Will, will be done or fulfilled on his time table, regardless of what mankind thinks.

Only because of what we have been taught in our life about God, whether it be good, bad or both, does not change the fact that the most high God has been and is misrepresented by many religions as a cruel, uncaring, & unloving God.

It takes intense efforts of fact-finding & research, as I mentioned above, for individuals to genuinely become convinced that the Bible (the entire 66-book canon) is God’s Word; it should not be based on feelings & emotion. These individuals will take it and accept it based on that research and not pick and choose as they wish, even though they may not understand everything.

It also takes humility for a person to realize that what they’ve been taught may not all be accurate. Both with secular ideas, and religious ideas.

Without research, can someone claim to know what is being said?

More the next time.
I’ll be happy to try to answer any sincere and honest questions. Thank you.

Jesus is King & Mighty God Isa.9:6-7; Lk.1:32-33
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”—John 13:35. NIV,

These words from Jesus sound important, doesn't everyone think so?
