I would be interesting though. Yank away the forum from those English kuh-nigit mods and the descendants of the anglo-saxes, and it fall under new world order of stubborn Celts.
At least RF can rest assured that while there will be some mod decisions made in unity, they'll often be highly contested and never really actually ever settled as the debates and arguments over the rules and whats breaking eternally continues.

In the context of this discussion, breaking forum rules.
And how do I know what is breaking forum rules?
OK, sometimes it is obvious (like spam e.g.) but what if my trigger is a bit harder on most of the offenses?
I'm not going to report people if they talk about doing drugs, though, because I think that rule is stupid.
So you only report on rules you approve of? Well, so do I and other non-snitchers.
But if they're insulting people, generally being nasty, trying to proselytize, etc., I report them.
I value free and clear speech a little bit higher than diplomacy (and diplomacy is often lost on people - and I'm bad at it).
I'd like to be able to call male bovine manure [expletive deleted].

Note: I'm not advocating to remove the report button nor for limiting its use. I use it sparely but ymmv. I support most of the rules and I think the mods are mostly doing a good job. They are sometimes a bit over sensitive for my taste but I'm not the measure of all things.

I never even got my dowry. That cheap Jew-ish husband of mine!
It's my fault.
@Rival put me in charge of that.
(She has little experience with wedding planning.)
Here you go.
Better late than never, eh.

Dude, this really isn't worth typing that much over.

I read the rules.
I read posts.
I report those posts that violate the rules....when I notice them.
My method is similar:
I read the rules.
I read posts.
When I find one that could be objectionable I ask myself
1. Do I care?
2. Am I confident the mods also find it objectionable?
I don't report the post. (Except for spam. I'm confident we almost all agree what is spam.)

It's the only thing worth typing that much over.
When I look at what has a measurable effect on a forum, it is only that what is about the forum.
I don't know what you expect me to say. You want me to describe how posts break rules? I'm not staff. You just have to use your best judgement.
