Its obviously choreographed, but the robotics are real enough.

The danger though is the development of self learning Ai. Put it into a mobile platform like a robot chassis and it makes me wonder whats next.

Look at how fast its advancing. Self learning ai has been proven to exceed human capabilities to learn exponentially.

There's a few good Ted Talks out there on how fast ai can learn.

I think that's an astute observation. We're pretty much at a crossroads today. Any idea which road we'll take?

I think that cyberpunk is the most realistic, given our status and direction. But extrapolations from a status quo are likely to fail because of some black swan event.

Very similar to the current century and the previous one. You can pick out shifts and changes but there is a much, much more than remains pretty much the same and people have long made predictions of massive changes in their near future that never come to fruition.

Nah, the China model lacks subtlety. The capitalist models by Google, Amazon and facebook are much more effective.
