Does anyone else here like to listen to Tool? My favorite songs would be Sober, Lateralus, Third Eye, Intension, Vicarious, Reflection, and Schism

Hm...too bad ChrisP dropped out a few days ago. He's our resident TOOL maniac. ;)

Tool is by far my favourite band. I'm getting lyrics from one of their songs tattoed around the scars on my back.

I like them. Not nearly as much as ChrisP (but then again, I don't think anyone ever can experience the same level of love he has for them.), but I like them.

Lol, I beg to differ :).
Go ahead, you won't have much luck. You can thank some kind soul for point this thread out to me :)

I'm a... pretty big... fan, in an understatement of the millenia kind of way. My favourite tracks are Hush, Jerk Off, Crawl Away, H, 46&2, Pu****, Ænema, Third Eye, Pretty much every track on La Te Ra Lus bar the Patient, Third Eye live from Salival and Rosetta Stoned. If I had to give you a top 5 it would be Lateralus, Schism, Third Eye, Pu**** and Rosetta Stoned. Ænema being left out in the cold to cry on its own

There was a time in my life where I listened to every Tool release at LEAST once a day... this went on for about two years. I'm not big on merchandise, just love the music, and have recently purchased La Te Ra Lus on Vinyl. Boy does it sound good.

If you want some kick arse web sites, check out

http://toolshed.down.net (semi-official, run by fan who seems to know the band) which has an AMAZING FAQ plus boards and tour news with reviews of every show.

www.Toolband.com (official site)

and
http://www.theninhotline.net/toolnews/ which has an RSS feed to make sure you don't miss out on tickets or tour dates!

If you want to chat more about Tool I'm over on www.keepmusicalive.com. I can give you the best sounding bootlegs from over the years as well. There's actually a few that have been ripped of the soundboards and then MASTERED. If anyone who was involved in that is reading, I always have room to put you up if you're in NZ!

Now young padawan, give me the time signatures, keys and ideas presented by the lyrics of "the Grudge" "Third Eye" and "Lateralus" then recite the lyrics to H backwards and we'll let you in the club.

By sigs you mean...? And no, I wouldn't want to be them either... Their music is great, and so are some of their ideas, but they're a bit messed up at times...

That's enscribed in size 3000 font on the side of their tourbus... Coincidentally I think it was also the motto of John Holmes.
