I don’t wish to read the specific reports to find out so I’ll ask on this thread.

Are some of these cases a case of a trans person being killed via hate crime? And I also assume some of the cases are cases of suicide as well?

Yes. I think most Americans don't realize that the rate of violence against trans people is enormous compared to non-trans people, and that the violence is usually particularly brutal. It's very dangerous to be trans in the USA, especially in a rural area. I wish people could people better.

Some the details some of these give are very very brutal in the case of violence.

I started the slideshow and, one after another, I'm seeing shot, run over, strangled. It's horrific and heartbreaking. May God protect you (and other trans people) @VoidCat

That is very sad. Ignorance and fear can be a deadly combination. Education is the best cure for this. To those that hate trans folk: You cannot catch "transexualism". In other words, a transexual using the stall next to you is not going to suddenly change your sexuality.

I didn't look long. I can't. Imma wait till this weekend to do a ritual to honor these people. But today I just can't. Im exhausted.
