We might be having a family holiday next year

I fancy Canada, I have never been out of Europe and Canada seems a nice destination

When I was at university there was a Canadian exchange student who came into our kitchen naked and showed us all his penis

I've heard that it has some interesting cities and I know that it has some very beautiful wildernesses, and I've never been to a wilderness before!

What would be the best place to go to in Canada?
If you like seeing men's penises, I suggest Toronto. :)

But overall Montreal is prettier.

If you want to glimpse the distopian future of humanity try Vancouver.

My friend recently took the train across the country but was stopped half way due to huge forrest fires through the Rockies.

The naked in the kitchen thing is not very common, perhaps sadly.

Toronto is a fabulous city -- very multicultural with thriving ethnic neighbourhoods (Portuguese, Italian, South Asian, Ukranian, Polish, Chinese, Korean, Greek and more). It's also the third largest city in Canada and the US, after New York and Los Angeles. We have plenty of theatre, tons of great eating from everywhere in the world, and you are close enough for day trips to Niagara Falls or Stratford (for the Stratford Festival, Shakespeare and lots of other theatre).

It has a world-class zoo, lots of shopping centres (especially the Eaton Centre, based on the Galleria in Milan). Visit the beaches for beach volleyball, or the Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome) for baseball under one of the largest retractable roofs in the world.

Canada is a fantastic choice for a holiday! You’ll find beautiful cities like Vancouver and Toronto and stunning wilderness areas like Banff and Jasper National Parks. Look for places with good reviews and amenities to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.

And don't forget Montreal, which is my favorite city.

I love Canada, but if you live in Europe, I don't really think any of the cities in North America would be that impressive to you ;)

So I'd suggest a wilderness-based trip. A few thoughts:

- You can hire a guide to take you canoeing in Quetico, Ontario, some of the best canoeing in the world.
- The Canadian Rockies which are in both Alberta and BC
- Both coasts have beautiful areas - in BC you have the spectacular coast mountains and the "inside passage"

If you choose do to a wilderness-based trip, I think the best time is end of August or September. Fewer people and fewer bugs :)

I prefer da U.P. :p

Canada is second tier. If you want to see the real good stuff come to the U.S.A.

I've spent a lot of my life in Wisconsin, 1/2 a mile from the UP. The UP is great.

Our place was just west of Marquette, but we had to sell it and move down near Detroit because this is where a kids [all in their 50's] and grandkids live. We occasionally went shopping down in Green Bay plus traveled the Door Peninsula.

Canada is a fantastic choice for a holiday! You’ll find beautiful cities like Vancouver and Toronto and stunning wilderness areas like Banff and Jasper National Parks. I’ve visited some great resorts in Australia, like www.fairmontresort.com.au. Look for places with good reviews and amenities to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.
Canada is indeed a fantastic choice! In addition to the cities and wilderness areas you mentioned, the cultural diversity and warm hospitality make it an even more enriching experience. When looking for resorts, consider staying at places that offer easy access to natural attractions, so you can get the best of both worlds—comfort and adventure. Happy planning!
