Warning, scenes of apartheid and genocide, from the heart of an open air prison:
(If you watch the first few minutes and then scroll through, you'll get the gist, the video has no real surprises after the first few minutes_
Hmm. It's my understanding that over the years Israel has accepted many two state proposals put forth by the UN, and the Arabs have rejected them all.And despite all the horrors of your video, Israel does not recognize and will never recognize a sovereign state of Palestine. Afterall, it would be rewarding terrorists to do so.
Imagine if Arafat had accepted the two State solution he was given and full recognition by the UN as a legitimate Palestinian government. Of course everyone knows how that story went.Hmm. It's my understanding that over the years Israel has accepted many two state proposals put forth by the UN, and the Arabs have rejected them all.
Meanwhile... 146 of the 193 members of the UN have already recognized the state of Palestine. Apparently, they did not require Palestine to make concessions before recognizing that other human beings can govern themselves.Hmm. As far as Israel is concerned, there can be no negotiation that results in the existence of a Palestinian state. Everything west of the Jordan is part of "the heart of the Land of Israel".This resolution — passed 68-9 — altogether rejects the establishment of a Palestinian state, even as part of a negotiated settlement with Israel.
“The Knesset of Israel firmly opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state west of Jordan. The establishment of a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel will pose an existential danger to the State of Israel and its citizens, perpetuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and destabilize the region,” the resolution stated.
Which mostly ignores what I already said, sigh.Meanwhile... 146 of the 193 members of the UN have already recognized the state of Palestine. Apparently, they did not require Palestine to make concessions before recognizing that other human beings can govern themselves.
