Trump, and Blackmail?

Just looking at this story, I start to suspect that what I thought all along is true. I think that Trump had enough on so many key figures in the government that they more or less had to let him run and through graft, not the Russians, get elected.

He was big in Las Vegas and at Atlantic City and I think that lots of the big boys went there to play, where he likely filmed and taped them. This is the part that the Russian Mafia may have been in on.

He was so desperate to hide what Putin and he talked about that I find it very suspicious. He acts like he has a lot to hide and that convinces me he does.

You know on judgement day you're going to have to answer to God why you defended such an evil man as Trump, don't you????

You should have offer courtesy of quoting (& thereby alerting) posters you respond to.
Btw, he isn't defending Trump in that post.
Instead, he's pointing out the fecklessness of conspiracy theorists.
There's a problem with such beliefs....
"It seems true."
"It could be true."
"It can't be disproven."
"Therefore it's true."

Yes. Trump is morally repugnant.
Yes. He is a repeatedly failed businessman as your OP article discusses, and many have shown over the years. Even carrying out illegal business dealings which he has been brought to court for and lost multiple times (yet he still loses money).
Yes. He wanted warfare for money & oil for many years. He’s a waffling flip-flopper with early dementia. He looks to have obstructed justice as president of the US. Yes, he has some very significant psychological issues that clearly made him an unfit selection as president of anything. He surrounds himself with corrupt sycophants with criminal backgrounds. He regularly kow-tows to Putin and other international authoritarians, and is the undeniably weakest international relations president in over 100 years. He is a loudspeaker mouthpiece for the most out-of-touch right-wing conspiracy theorists. He denies scientific or any fact-based investigations if it remotely threatens his delusional self-image, and he excoriates his fear & hate driven fanatical followers to support his myriad of lies, which in turn supports his pathological narcissism.
....and much more. All factual with evidence to back them.

Buuuuut, filming bigwigs doing salacious things inside his casinos bedrooms, so as to blackmail said bigwigs.....Thaaaat is a new one. o_O Care to provide evidence?

Soooo...you still think Trump is an idiot? This all sound fairly complicated and sophisticated; I would think it would take an evil genius to figure out all the logistics and pre-planning of such an elaborate scheme.

It's unfortunate that facts confuse you. Maybe actually try and deal with what's there in the OP than invent excuses to just ignore and blow it all off.

That's a rather "interesting" excuse for Trump.

So either he's an incompetent, a tax evader, or both. Any other alternatives?

Then maybe you should have clarified what you were trying to say, so now is maybe a good time to do just that.
But if they speak clearly and use distinct, unambiguous language there's so much less wiggle room! Next thing you know, people would have to start making arguments based on facts! Then where would they be?

Sure, why not buy into more conspiracy theories while ignoring the war machine trudging onward and onward, bombing and killing even more and more??

Let's all worry about supposed Russian or mafia influence on Trump and ignore Saudi influence and American participation in their invasion of Yemen.

Ignore the bombs falling in Yemen, Syria, and Afghanistan, let's focus on the president's ****ing taxes instead. Because that is surely more important than the problem of endless war in a place known as the Graveyard of Empires!! Pay no attention to the military-industrial complex behind the curtain!! We've always been at war with Eastasia Afghanistan.
