Trump for conviction

What do you think about this?

I'm not sure. From the article, it says:

Both ABC News and The New York Times on Tuesday reported that Trump had specific instructions when he realized that investigators were going to interview her about the boxes of classified documents he kept after leaving the White House.

“You don’t know anything about the boxes,” she said Trump told her, according to both reports.

Timmons said every case has a point where the trial is won or lost. If Trump testifies, that would probably be that point.

“But if it isn’t, it’s this witness,” he said. “She’s the key witness.”

She said that Trump told her this, but I'm not sure how that would hold up in court. I'm wondering if it could be considered inadmissible as hearsay. But I guess it would be up to the legal beagles to figure that one out.

No, that is not hearsay. She is testifying about something she herself directly heard. The fact that the thing she heard was somebody speaking does not make it hearsay.

If she testifies to what she heard it is not an out of court statement. No different if she testifies as to what she saw.

This would not be "offered to prove the truth of" what Trump said (quite the contrary), she is would just be testifying that he said it.

It is not hearsay.

Could be. It'll be up to the judge to make the call.

I'm fine seeing trump go to jail for his crimes. Would be even better to see it happen to all of them.
