Snider's "report" of Trump's self-deprecating humor is merely unsupported hearsay. But I don't doubt his word alone is sufficient to convince Trump defenders that the man is all heart.
No president can be a man of all heart in 21st century , he just be taken advantage of trump doesn't take no bs
Rough and Ready type , obviously he tough guy , who else can stand up for Americans , nothing to loose that's not going to be lost anyway . Make or Break Trump call , same ole with Hillary slow downwards spiral while spiraling national debts ?

Did you watch Celebrity Apprentice at all?
Never.
You know that Trump fires someone at the end of every episode, right?
I've heard he's famous for the line, "You're fired!".
I have no doubt whatsoever that it's written in each celebrity's contract that they aren't allowed to say anything negative about the show or Donald Trump. Makes sense, if you think about it.
Even if they had, this Twisted Sister guy was effusively positive.
I wouldn't expect a contract to require anything so affirmative.

From what Kevin Smith said, everyone who goes to Prince's (or the "Artist Formerly Known as" or whatever he goes by these days) mansion has to sign a non-disclosure agreement and agree to tell no one about what they saw there or what goes on.
But, at the same time, Vince McMahon, owner of the WWF/WWE, did describe Trump as "humble" in a documentary about Wrestlemania. But, then again, Vince himself does have a pretty gigantic ego.
A also a ton of people describe Dave Mustaine, founder/singer/guitarist of Megadeth as a mega-huge prick, and there are even some videos and audio recordings of him tearing into people in an audience, such as a guy shining a laser pointer at him, and it's something I'm seen him do myself, but one person, Wayne Static, said he's actually a pretty nice guy.
So it's kinda hard to tell, but just incredibly difficult to believe as defensive as Trump gets over trivial things.

I don't think we need a President. Why can't we just govern ourselves?
Because I can't figure out how become a fully entitled person who receives all the privileges and rights bestowed upon white heterosexual cis-men without the government stepping in (which is pretty much the case for women and every minority group).
Hopefully one day we will, but for now we have too many people poisoning us with toxic waste dumping and chemical additives in our food to get by without some centralized body enforcing laws and, ideally, acting as a vanguard for those who would otherwise be trampled by those who want more for themselves or deny basic human rights to others.

I should have summed up my point in an earlier spot, but this is what happens when I try to work and post at the same time.

When a celebrity is highly likely to be under contractual agreement to not say anything inflammatory about a show they've
been on or face a lawsuit, any compliment they give to a former boss can only be taken at 50% its value. So says me. :D

I'm sure Trump has a sense of humor in there somewhere, but it's not ever directed at himself, I don't think.

This is the best thing I've read as far as politics goes. Shadow Wolf for President!

Partly serious. :D

I'm skeptical about an in terrorem clause which would require effusive praise.
This is a much farther reaching requirement than to merely prohibit badmouthing.

I wouldn't know, except that this one guy said otherwise, reversing his earlier opinion.
So I'm the singular <yes> vote to the very specific question of the poll.

.
Put it this way, if RF made you sign a contract explicitly prohibiting you from badmouthing me and I knew about this contract,
any praise you gave me would be tainted by my knowledge of that contract.

(Just let me have a small victory for once, would you?) :D

I'd agree if he were perfunctory.
But he dang near went all bromance.

You win!

LMAO! Since when is a thin-skinned bully going to "stand up for America"? If Trump gets elected, he'll be crying himself to sleep after his first meeting with the Chinese.

This conception of how it works is exactly backwards. The state isn't benevolently guarding marginalized people from the mob. The membership of ruling institutions will always disproportionately favor the privileged. In fact, that's kind of the definition of privilege. The governing bodies of a prejudiced society can't be disentangled from that society's prejudices.

"Donald Trump has a bully's sense of humor; he can laugh at everyone but himself"

A quote from the estimable, always insightful, nearly infallible, good-looking, big schlonged (three fulsome inches!) Sunstone.

Any truth to that quote about Trump? Why or why not?

Please note: The poll has no options for "don't know". That's intentional. This is one time that I'm actually not interested in how many of us don't know the answer to something. If you don't know, or have no opinion, please don't feel obligated to vote.
Trump appears to laugh at himself in this brutally funny Comedy Central roast of him. Why accept an invitation to a roast if you can't laugh at yourself.
