I was thinking about this and comparing it to a question Kamala Harris was asked recently and how she answered it. She was asked about her support among young Black men. Her response was the response of an adult, it was the response of someone who has respect for the people she is asking to vote for her. In other words, the complete opposite of what Trump said to those Jewish voters.Of course, blame the Jews. Is there any fascist claim he won't use?

But Trump said that Kamala Harris wasn't black and should not be categorized as black. So how are we supposed to know which people to tell that they are black? What if they only look black but have a mixed race background? Do you guys have some new formula for us to know who is black and who isn't? This is all very confusing.

Fascism and related ideologies are based on the hate of "the other". And usually there are a lot of "others". The trick is to avoid that the majority thinks they are or might become "other" until their power can no longer be challenged. A lesson Trump may have not quite understood. He is alienating too many groups at once, women at reproductive age, blacks, Jews, liberal Christians, Muslims, etc. He has even gone so far that ultraconservatives like Cheney see themselves as "others".
