Trump has not yet contacted the widow of Corey Comperatore

Found this also...so maybe it is legit

"The name of Corey Comperatore, the former fire chief killed at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, is misspelled on the jacket brought to the Republican National Convention stage on Thursday night.

The misspelling on the jacket, which instead says "Compertore," was not the fault of Trump. The Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company confirmed it was his gear and that it was sent to Trump, which the former president shared in his speech.

While the volunteer fire department gave no reason for the misspelling, it responded to a reader who pointed out the mistake on its Facebook page, noting that it “was in error years ago, and it was left that way by Corey.”

Comperatore died at Saturday's Trump rally as he shielded other family members in attendance from gunfire that also struck Trump. The shooting is being investigated as an assassination attempt."

That's good to know.

Going to Facebook seems to be the case

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.

Still, the moment was a sick exploitation of the death. It would have been better if he had personally called the widow and not made a big show of his 'compassion.'
He did call her. There are sources all over the web about it. Just google 'did Trump call the Widow of Corey Comperatore'

...who gave to democratic causes. Sounds pretty confused to me.
Certainly troubled in more than one way.
I read that he searched for info on dealing with depression too.
Nonetheless, the claim that he wasn't a Republican is defeated
by his having registered as one.

I have often wondered if he was with his mama when he registered.

Get real. The assassin was clearly not a Republican. He donated to Democrats,
He donated at a time when JD Vance considered Trump the American Hitler, and now look at him some 4 years later, a total suckup to MAGA. So people change.
and used the Republican ticket to get closer so he can kill Trump.
This makes no sense. It's not as if only regitered republicans could be anywhere near a Trump rally. And you are ignoring the reports of his fellow classmates who said his politics were quite conservative. You're better off asserting the kid was disturbed rather than trying to link him to democrats.

I will do that. The more we learn about this guy, the less political his motivations appear. He was tracking BOTH Trump and Biden. His social media footprint, though small, indicates no political animus. What it DOES show is a kid who wanted to get public attention.

There were many republicans who were against the Jan 6 attack, it wasn't just democrats, nor a cause only for democrats. Are you suggesting that only democrats are against overturning a fair election, and using violence when a republican loses? If not, welcome to the cause.

You dty so hard to distort the narrative.

Thomas Matthew Crooks was a 20 year old registered Republican. According to the Wikipedia entry:

On January 20, 2021, at the age of 17, he donated $15 to the Progressive Turnout Project, a liberal voter turnout group, through the Democratic Party donation platform ActBlue.[9][13][15][33] His donation was made the same day that President Biden was sworn into office.[8] According to the Progressive Turnout Project, he made the donation in response to an e-mail about "tuning into" the inauguration; he was unsubscribed from the group's mailing list in 2022.[32]

Clearly the profile of an agent of the Democratic Party.

Try being a little more honest next time.

There also some reports coming out about him where he supposedly threatened to shoot up his high school five years ago.

No, I am not saying that, just stating that the kid was registered as a Republican but gave to democrat causes.

How many of those republicans donated to a dem pac?

The kid registered as a republican. The kid donated to the dems. Why on either, no one knows.

Why would you donate to something unless you support it?
Why would you register as something unless you support it.(parents he still lived with?)
It seems the kid was disturbed
