Well, that's just you forgetting how much of the United States is terrified of everything sexual because they're afraid that "god" might think they're sinful for enjoying it.But when it comes to people's sex lives, I expect people to be more honest and less prudish.
What do you imagine your expectations have to do with Americans with views like the funadmentalist Christians I've just described? You can expect anything you want, but you're silly if you think you're going to get it.If in those states the legislation is becoming more and more inflexible, I would expect women to fight for free or affordable contraception.
You forget that protections fail, you forget that relationships and human minds change, you forget that what seemed like "true love" yesterday may be badly resented today . You forget that abnormalities can be determined pretty much at any time during a pregnancy. In short, you forget to incorporate human nature into your considerations. That's silly. And not to fight for the right to have unprotected sex.
