Trump & Magas Actually Trying To Lose Election

Of course, they really want to win. But it appears that
they're losing their grip on reality by living in an echo
chamber of increasingly hostile & bigoted speech.
It's the new normal...to viciously insult & lie about others.
Not so much about campaigning to win...it's become about
reveling in hatred, fear, anger, & power seeking.
The result....
They offend many groups...including those on the fence
who might otherwise vote for Trump.
Ref...

And in other news, Trump's minions plan once again
to attempt a coup, ie, over-throwing the election if
he loses.

His supporters/minions/***-lickers know he is only joking (possibly) and that this is the new language of politics - and if some little untruths or downright lies creep in, then this of course is what the opposition does. Ergo, proven, and justified - in their tiny minds. Yuk! :weary:

People realising they can get what they (think they) want by being themselves. No need to put up a front if you don't gain anything by it.

As I recall Bette Davis saying once, long ago: "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night."

You forgot to say ... whilst at the same time as accusing the other side of being worse at it than the GOP

Trump and his campaign staff show their negative attitudes and poor judgment as they try to get citizens to trust them to govern the largest economy and only military superpower. The polls suggest a large minority of voters have equally poor judgment in saying "yes" to the disturbed criminal candidate.

Can we trust MAGAs when they exhibit such poor judgment, and lack the maturity to resist the divisive rhetoric from Trump and his lackies? We couldn't in 2020, and now the emotions are even higher. The only good thing is that Trump is not the president this time around and we have an administration that is keeping an eye on domestic threats.

I have Puerto Rican friends who will only dare go back to visit if a relative is deathly ill or has died .
Ask any Puerto Rican why they left and you will find the humor contains a good element of truth

Legal guns are now the most common tool for carrying out femicides

All I can tell you is that when listening to the Puerto Ricans I know which tend to be in upper middle ages 45-65 they do not have nice things to say about what the Island now is now compared to what it once was. and are heartbroken about it
Crime being the worse than anything we have here , and we are hardly low crime here.
You make the classic fawning white liberal mistake in assuming that all people of a certain nationality think alike.
Same mistake being assumed in this election that legal Hispanic immigrants who did their due diligence in becoming Americans are happy about the border being overrun with illegals.
Couldn't be further from the truth from the Hispanic Americans I know who more virulent Maga supporters than any non-Hispanics I know .
Don't take my word for it though the election will teach this lesson.

Puerto Ricans I've known have tended to have pride in that, some of them making a statement they hate being confused for Mexicans (which happens a lot in Indiana where I heard that).
And in my neck of the woods the Hispanic vote is mixed. Some are for Harris, some are for Trump. But I have talked to many who don't appreciate how Trump has characterized Mexico and Mexicans.

You are right in saying that Hispanics are very sensitive about being mistaken from being from a country they are not from.
A lesson I learned once when assuming someone I saw talking to someone I knew to be Puerto Rican was also Puerto Rican and he let me know in no uncertain terms that he was Cuban.
I have never assumed anyone's country of origin since then, just ask first and they are more than happy to tell you.

I've seen it happen here, but not nearly as bad as in Indiana, but I have definitely noticed a tendency where someone, usually white but not always, sees someone else who is brown, especially if this person speaks Spanish, and automatically assume they are Mexican.
I've heard it's basically the same with Asians, except I've not known enough or been in situations to really hear those discussions.

Actually I've been finding out with a little research about the comedians comments was that Puerto Rico really did have a garbage crisis. The joke was still in poor taste mind you and the audience all MAGA supporters even let him know it.

Left wing is just pulling hot air out of their *** when they say it was all racist and bigoted there. That rally was absolutely incredible, particularly when you consider it's in the People's Republic of New York.

Yeah it was incredible like Guliani and his subway in Palestine, not in a good way.

I didn't see but a couple of minutes of the rally and I actually did not see the comedian. but I'm sure it probably was in poor taste .
The majority of so called"comedy" these days both from left and right is geared towards politics and I get bored with it real quick anymore.
