But on staff advice, he aborted it before anyone died.
You might say this is insignificant because the bombs
never fell. But I see enormous risk in this almost-war.
Trump intended to start an all out war against a country
more powerful than Iraq. This shows bad judgement,
which was only thwarted by cooler heads.
I'm continually surprised how few know or even
care about this.

That is a half-truth at best. The war was ended based on the US/Afghanistan Joint Declaration which was brokered and signed by former President Trump.

The beginning of the end of US involvement in Afghanistan began under Trump. He could have even completed it during his term but he deferred to requests not to do so. But the Joint Declaration called for a deadline for withdrawal. A deadline which Biden unilaterally abrogated. Causing needless deaths.
Trump had been saying for years that
the war should end "immediately".
He had 4 years to do it.
"Immediately" never arrived.
It took Biden to actually end it.
Spin away. The record of facts is what it is. Historians and the people will make up their own minds. We don't see Biden boasting of his handling of Afghanistan. There is a reason for that.

Agreed. But I also think that she shows some ability to consider the opinions of others, and to be able to modify or nuance her positions based on more information.
During the Obama administration, these wars were started:
- Libyan war
- Syrian war
- Donbas war
- Yemen war
