Trump Plan for Ideological Screening of Immigrants

Most people know what Trump said especially in post 9/11 were Radical Muslims initiated their attack on the US.

All this proves, like this thread proves, is that the left hasn't really learned anything. It's so massively out of touch it's laughable.

Of course America has the power to include or exclude who ever they want.

However it is the quality of a civilised country to not differentiate between people's and races in their laws and regulations and policies.


It is said that justice Is blind. And a majority of countries now have anti racial laws.

it has become fairly clear in recent times, that America is moving headlong into the abyss of racial, religious and political bigotry. And at the same time empowering that same bigotry and division with the authority of the law.

As America degenerates further, and loses the power of its dollar hegemony, along with it's status as the leading industrial world power, and it's ability to control world finance and trade. It will just as certainly lose internal cohesion and direction, and end up in a mire of political and civil anarchy.

In the process world trade will take a serious beating by collateral damage, but will have the future benefit of long term stability and growth, unencumbered by American interference or hegemony.

The future for America is less certain, and could be extremely difficult unless it can find a way to establish a new foundation based on of internal and external friendship and cooperation.

At the moment that eventuality seems extremely unlikely, and the prospects dire.

I notice that Trump refers to "our religion".
I assume he means Christianity.
Would this mean that citizens who are Muslim,
Hindu, atheist, etc don't belong here....or that
we merely live here at the pleasure of Christians?

Why would anyone suppose that radical Muslims from the middle east would not see themselves as having good reason to attack America.
America had been playing fast and loose in their countries, fighting wars and dominating them for years.
If you interfere in disputes you should expect to get your nose blooded.

They saw interfering Americans, not democrats or republicans, as did the rest of the world

My nieces are Chinese and they're actually from the mainland and not Hong Kong, so if you're properly vetted or whatever , if you ever decide to expatriate , not saying that you have that desire , but you would be welcome like anybody else cuz you went through proper channels.

But not in the least evangelical. America already has too much religion to be healthy.

I am of the opinion America as we know it will not survive.
What it becomes will depend on its own decisions.
But neither of the parties is offering anything new or a way out.
Trump is only offering a faster demise.

It needs a plan like Deng Xiaoping developed to advance China.
But that is unlikely in a politically split country at war with itself.

Any advances made by one administration will be undone by the next.
Ad infinitum.

From what I can see, in the last 40 years, their politics is entirely pragmatic and results based.

They have already thoroughly researched counters to the vagaries of Trumps decision making, according to the South China Post. And are now in wait and see mode.
One of the plans is to largely wait out his term. With only minor counters to his excesses.

The time is better spent on their own plans and developments. Rather than wasting time and money countering Trumps vagaries.

We have to wait to see what he does.

Trump throws different things at you - to observe the reaction and then he eventually does the correct thing. It is an ingenious method to get feedbacks from foes & friends but many folks misunderstand and hate him for it. They hate him because they don't understand his methods.


Just asking interested qualified folks questions at the beginning stage of their migration process - is a good idea because later if they burn USA flags or something like that then they could easily take them through the denaturalization process.
You gotta love America to be an American! Don't burn flags!

It seems quite a few Chinese graduates and post docs have returned to the mainland or Hong Kong to continue their research there. And that include leading researchers and departmental heads.
