The USA and the WORLD lost and had a great leader stolen from them. The world supports Trump. There were rallies for Trump in Sydney, in Japan and elsewhere on the 6th. I have twitter videos of them somewhere. I'll spare you it this time.

Evil won.

We are moving into a dark age.

The world had calm and peace for 4 years without the terrorism we saw in previous administrations. The Japanese had pleasant sleep without the fear of rocket man, NK missiles, flying over their heads.

There was no dancing in the streets after this past election was called.

Practically no one in my city was happy.

Usually after an election half of the country parties hard because their candidate won.

Not this year.

Most people were confused and suspicious.

They still are confused and suspicious.

Could just be the China Virus.

Per Pelosi's inquiry today, the Pentagon said that a president cannot by themselves order a nuclear strike, but they obviously didn't give any details.

Amd as we have been consistently seeing, it is not the military we have to worry about. Its not. Its rare they pose a deliberate threat to us.
The police, however, if they were involved with the process instead of the military then run the hills because I wouldn't put it past some of them to drop the bomb on America.

Anyways I think Pelosi is a bit extreme minded here but besides, there is more than one person required to activate a nuclear strike as far as I know, I'm assuming military and additional high ranking officials are also needed and Trump can't do it himself alone.

Its not like there is a nuke button by his bed.

I see this as a very binary decision.

What percentage chance that Trump would press the button is acceptable? Zero.

Since then there has been significant focus on the deplatforming of President Donald Trump. By all means the question of when to deplatform a head of state is a critical one, among many that must be addressed. When should platforms make these decisions? Is that decision-making power theirs alone?

But as reprehensible as the actions of Donald Trump are, the rampant use of the internet to foment violence and hate, and reinforce white supremacy is about more than any one personality. Donald Trump is certainly not the first politician to exploit the architecture of the internet in this way, and he won’t be the last. We need solutions that don’t start after untold damage has been done.

Changing these dangerous dynamics requires more than just the temporary silencing or permanent removal of bad actors from social media platforms.

Additional precise and specific actions must also be taken:

Reveal who is paying for advertisements, how much they are paying and who is being targeted.

Commit to meaningful transparency of platform algorithms so we know how and what content is being amplified, to whom, and the associated impact.

Turn on by default the tools to amplify factual voices over disinformation.

The Trump campaign is now blocked from emailing their millions of supporters after being suspended by their email service provider.

The suspension comes shortly after President Donald Trump and his campaign were permanently banned from Twitter.

The Nationalist Review reports “the move effectively cuts off communication between his team and his core supporters. What is not clear however, is what other services have banned his team. Even i will call out hypocrisy. Trump shouldn't say that , while he muzzles his own dissenters.

Free speech is a two way street imv.

I think Twitter should not suppress any type of criticism or view, but I can give a little leeway for the reason that they don't want to be a medium for calls by its user to bring harm to others.

Trump and the nuclear launch codes. There's nothing to worry about. He needs the cooperation of the military which he won't get.

After WW2 and the Nuremberg trails, the Uniform Code of Military Justice was amended to make any member of the military subject to a courts martial if they obeyed unlawful orders.

The military can't refuse Trump's orders, and they can't remove him from power, but what they can do is question the legality of his order which will delay the decision to comply until long after he's out of office with the final decision in the hands of a military court.
