Still think he's a "law and order" kinda guy?

Actually at this point Trump is the second to the last on pardons. If "pardons" were the guideline of who is law and order and who is not, Barack Obama shouldn't have been president (fourth to the last) or Roosevelt, the grandaddy of pardons.

Trump is a liability to America, any other person would be brought to justice,he’s being treated with kid gloves and now you have a judge who is out of her depth or knowingly going to slow everything down by allowing a special master,I hope she makes the right decision.

Yep, as if you and I robbed a 7-11 do you think it would take months even before seeing a judge? So much for "equal justice under the law". Trump has been a con man for decades now, and yet he all so often would wear the system down through delay tactics and frequent appeals.

Before running for president, roughly 25 women said that he sexually assaulted them, and two of them at least said he raped them. Now, there's no way of knowing if all were telling the truth, but the point becomes moot as they undoubtedly knew he would just wear them down financially as he threatened to do.

Exactly, forget special master he just gets special treatment,he has no loyalty or respect for anyone ,he definitely doesn’t respect the American people because he would pardon criminals if he were to be president again,it’s unbelievable really that that man isn’t in jail imo.

I think autocratic Democrats should apologize.

Every one of them, for creating Trump-ism in the first place by relentlessly pushing the American people through their neverending pathological love of rule by mandate and compulsary policymaking.

Special master - Wikipedia
Excerpted....
In the law of the United States, a special master is generally a subordinate official appointed by a judge to make sure that judicial orders are actually followed....

To us ordinary folk, having someone to ensure
orders are followed is entirely unknown. It would
be great if orders were enforced, instead of having
to spend a lot of money filing motion after motion
to get a judge to enforce them.

Silly argument. Trump granted 143 pardons in a SINGLE TERM. Obama granted 212 in TWO terms. Also, George H.W. Bush also had a single term, the the ONLY president who granted fewer pardons than Obama in 2 terms is George W. Bush.

Oh, and Roosevelt? He served four terms (you can't do that anymore). So he had a bit more time.

This is a very difficult job for a special master. He or she might need a rather high security clearance. Plus the special master would have to able to close their eyes to other crimes that were not included in the search warrant. It is not a job that I would want.

She really doesn't know the ropes on this one. This case definitely does NOT merit a special master. It's inappropriate. Trump is not President, and therefore has zero executive privilege.

We can only hope that he keeps running his mouth through the midterms, not only to damage the Republican party, but he also keeps incriminating himself. In the meantime, the Republicans cringe whenever he does.

Trump posts dozens of memes attacking Biden, the FBI, and others as the former president's allies beg him to keep quiet | Business Insider México | Noticias pensadas para ti

This recent Mar-a-Lago thing has thrown Trump back into the headlines unfavorably just as the J6 committee went quiet temporarily to finish curating more damning evidence against him for prime time this or next month. It keeps Trump's criminality in the news, as does this, I believe. Trump is telling the nation that he considers the insurrectionists heroes. What a bonehead announcement. Likewise with the calls for violence. References to the 2020 election are probably damaging as well by now. All he will do with his mouth is hurt them and force them to defend or condemn him (or look bad refusing to do either).

As Napoleon said, "when the enemy is making a false movement we must take good care not to interrupt him."

Autocratic mandates? Do you mean like forbidding abortion where possible, deputizing citizens to turn in their neighbors for a bounty, forbidding transgender discussion in schools, banning books over political correctness, and "Don't say gay?" with sanctions against Disney for daring to defy?
