Why do we need to plead the 5th? We aren't the one who sexually assaulted her, that was Trump.
As explained by trauma experts, it isn't unusual for someone to block out details of traumatic events. This info is readily available for anyone who really cares to understand the details of this issue, but you aren't informed. You're critical of Carroll for not remembering details of the sexual assault, yet you haven't even read up on the details of the story.

There's reputable media, but it delivers the facts. That's why right wing disinformation media became so profitable, conservatives have media that doesn't tell it like it is.
Should he get away with sexual assault just because he got into politics, and elected by the minority of citizens to be president? The evidence was presented to a jury and they found Trump liable. The guy should have stayed out of politics and remained a TV host. He might have gotten away with all his crimes. But he just pushed his luck, and attracted more attention and scrutiny. That meant his crimes were discovered and exposed, and he now has a lot of legal jeopardy in his life. If you are corrupt and you want to avoid legal scrutiny, keep a low profile.

Because when a person gets into politics they invite more public scrutiny. The media will dig into any politicians past to see who they are and let society know what kind of person it is. The reporting is that Trump has a history of sexual assault, among other crimes. As stories are exposed the victims and other related people get interviewed.
Trump is learning that he can't get away with crimes, and that's why he is so motivated to be president again, as he can use that position to avoid justice.

Do you believe that the allegations against Weinstein or Cosby are largely false as well? What about rape allegations in general? How would you ratio the genuine to the false?

You suggested that rape victims should kill themselves if they don't behave in a way that you think they should (which you didn't bother explaining). Your POV has nothing at all to do with "reality" and everything to do with forgoing both reason and compassion for the sake of blind partisan loyalty. Even if Trump came forward and said he's guilty you would still doubt Trump sexually assaulted her.
You would claim Trump was manipulated in some way to get him to change his story.
I say that because that's how deep your love and bias for Trump goes.
Great. Why don't you get a law degree and begin helping rape victims get justioce against their rapists, even when they fear the power of those who raped them. Then you won't be questioning why victims act the way they do.Interesting.
