Trump to FBI Director Comey: You're Fired!

Trump is on record saying that he would not be persecuting Clinton.
Doesn't really matter what he said. It's legal to change one's mind. And if what you say is true, I hope he does. I actually hope she gets life behind bars. But I would prefer that she be executed.

Home security. And I have found that people are more confident in spending their money. Another indication of the economy growing and growing better.
How does this square with your assertion that Trump has done more for the economy in 100 days than Obama did in 8 years?

We were hemorrhaging both jobs and employers before Trump took office, the stock market was iffy at best, and regulations on small and large businesses was becoming oppressive; Trump tends to represent the antithesis of this trend. One of the main causes of economic upturns is confidence in leadership and intent. As a business person I realize that there are no guarantees nor quick fixes when it comes to the economy, but you are seeing the results of businesses believing it's going to get better.

What?
Where do you see stats backing up these claims?

Ya, but that's what all conservatives say. Rings of the propaganda from the election.

I'll ask 1 question.

-What did Clinton do that was illegal and warrant jail time?

Last month's jobs figures were 100,000 more than predicted; the lowest unemployment rate in ten years; the stock market over 20,000; companies staying in the US and hiring; companies returning to the US--the signs are there. Most small businesses are predicated on intuition rather than strict data models (that's what makes the US different than most countries, btw, you take your idea and you run with it; sometimes you win, sometimes you lose).

That was going on under Obama. Employment rates went up, and one of the complaints of Obama's recovery that is valid and legit is that most of it went straight to the top, to those least effected by the Recession. Trump has shown he has no problems ****ting on the poor and less fortunate. He doesn't even want to keep those with pre-existing conditions covered, and that was one thing that had pretty much universal bipartisan support with the ACA. Jobs staying and plants opening, plenty of them are saying it was set into motion before Trump was "elected."

Intuition says small businesses are on the way out. It's predicted that over 800,000 stores will close by the end of this year, which is actually way more than closed during the height of the Recession.

You do realize that the stock market more than doubled under Obama?
Or maybe you don't.
Tom
Trump inherited a disastrous economy mess with 100 million people unemployed and can't find work......

Or was conservative media lying about the economy the last 8 years? It sure does win elections though....

You go back to the Bush administration and skip over the entire Obama administration?

These are Labor Dept. figures.

Might want to fact check this.

We may have different definitions of 'small business'.

That the employment numbers didn't rise dramatically during the Obama administration?
My question is why you are comparing the figures just after Trump took office to the figures just before Obama took office. Ten years ago the economy was in a tailspin. After 8 years of Obama it is vastly better. But your claim was that Trump had done more for the economy in 100 days than Obama did in 8 years.
Back that up.

Fact check the stock market?
I was alive and aware back in 2008 and the market was a mess. It's been setting records now for years.
Are you really unaware of that?
Tom

I am trying to avoid getting my snark on here. But you are making that a challenge.

From small mom & pop stores all the way up to big box businesses, the Internet is squeezing the life out of brick and mortal businesses; be it that single store opened, owned, and operated by a woman following her dreams or massive chains with scores of stores in each state, the internet is causing their foundations to crumble. And since the smaller ones hire a few people and the bigger ones a dozen or two, that is a ton of lost jobs when retail is being forced to go online. And rather than advertising and competing against local/community stores, these e-business owners are now having to compete with the world.

Conservatives all think the same and repeat the same things. It's their media that teaches them all this stuff.

Today, RW media is taking credit for the economy. Their audience has been told for 8 years that the economy was on the verge of a disastrous collapse. So now their media makes it all roses and sunshine.

Low information voters are very dangerous.

So, just to make sure we are on the same page, what statute do you believe that Clinton violated?

The unsecured private server in her house was a violation. Her emails with classified files were violations. Her being ignorant is not an excuse.

Indeed. I can speak for you too...and I do.
Pure, unadulterated male bovine excrement. You could not even begin to understand me, let alone speak for me. In this particular case, I think I am justified in bending forum rules and saying that your statement was overweening, prideful, and false.

One of the very best things about being an atheist is that at least I have the humility to know that I do not speak for anyone other than me. Humility, as I understand it, was something Jesus preached. You might try it, even if it doesn't fit very well.
