Democracy is a very fragile form of government because there's so many "moving parts" involved, and now we have a president who has viciously attacked the judicial system and the media, and has taken actions that are very dangerous to any democracy.

Trump's 2nd executive order on immigration (Muslim band) is heading to the Supreme Court. The defense is to argue from a 1960 Court decision that upheld a state law concerning segregation. The state refused to desegregate the public swimming pools, so the governor closed all the pools. The Court ruled that the intent could not be considered. From his own mouth his intent was/is to band Muslims.
