Trump tries to prove that elections were rigged

Trump tries to prove that elections were rigged

Note: First 8 seconds is Spanish intro, rest is Trump in English with Spanish subtitles (I got it from an Argentinian)

I am happy that Trump is gone, but curious if there is any truth in what Trump claims here. I would not be surprised IF Trump lies about what he says here, BUT it would be stupid IMO. I am from the Netherlands, so I have no clue IF the elections were rigged or not (I wouldn't be surprised that they rigged the elections to get rid of Trump though). I know that Trump has been obsessed with fake news, maybe this is his share of fake news (but seeing his lips move, it seems that the sound of his voice matches the lips movement, so that part is not fake; better than text only nowadays with all the lies and fake stuff).

What do you think or better what do you know, is there any truth in what Trump says here?

It's nothing but lies. He's had since the beginning of November to provide proof for his claims and the courts have repeatedly indicated that he has none whatsoever. It's not that hard to spot fake news. When you see Giuliani ranting about the massive fraud in front of TV cameras and then hear him tell a judge that he's not alleging that any fraud took place at all, it's pretty obvious who's just making stuff up in order to trigger their uninformed base.

And if the Democrats somehow DID have the ability to rig the elections, why the heck did they allow themselves to lose seats in both the house and senate?

Thanks.

They should have a Law "IF a president lies THEN they should dump him", then we would not have such stupid acting Presidents

None would even get elected.
American Presidents get fame/power AND quite a few dollars for being President, so IF they really want it THEN they might stop lying

It's like with "The law of supply and demand" ... people can change IF you give them the right incentive

I agree. I think D.Trump is a lost case, he would not get elected, which would be good

None would even get elected.
He is the first President in my lifetime to refuse to accept the results of an election.

According to Trump’s own former National Security Advisor, John Bolton (a staunch conservative, and strong critic of China, if that interests you), and many others, Trump’s lying and undermining of our own democracy is unprecedented.

Let’s not simply say Trump lies, and all politicians lie. Trump is the worst.

Wow! Its just like the Democrats over Russian collusion.

Amazing on how the two parties mirror each other perfectly.

You know, there is a difference between being nonpartisan, and just lacking discernment.

The two things you are comparing are very different.

The Trump campaign met with people they thought were Russian government representatives to get dirt on Hillary to help their campaign. That was highly inappropriate and VERY close to illegal, at best. And the Russian government was trying to help Trump. These are facts. An investigation was warranted. The Trump campaign tried to obstruct the investigation and as a result, several Trump campaign officials were charged.

However, the Mueller report concluded that the Trump Tower meeting didn’t quite meet the definition of collusion because the meeting was a flop.

After the investigation the issue of collusion was put to rest - the left didn’t just continue spreading absurd lies the way Trump has about the 2020 election.

Here’s the email Donald Trump Jr released. Democrats didn’t make this up the way Trump is making up nonsense about election fraud.

You’re comparing grapes and watermelons.

^ This is highly inappropriate and warranted an investigation. No reasonable person is even denying this. The investigation concluded even though Russia committed crimes seeking to help Trump, and even though the Trump campaign sought to collude with Russia, it didn’t pan out. Fine. You don’t see me making stuff up out of thin air trying to dispute that conclusion, do you?

On the other hand, no reasonable person can say that there is evidence of systemic voter fraud that would change the outcome of the election. Even Attorney General Barr, and Mitch McConnel, and other staunch Trump allies, acknowledge this. Yet the Liar in Chief keeps making stuff up about fraud to avoid his inevitable ouster. It’s pathetic.

These two things - the Russia investigation, and the 2020 election Trumper Tantrum - could hardly be more different.

To call them mirror images of each other, again, is not objectivity. It’s just naiveté.

Thanks for all the information. I appreciate it. Good to know.

Gore refused until Dec 12.

Whether Trump is the worst liar is open to some question.
Simple?

Trump diidn't start any wars.

Spanish American War, lies
Occupation of Philippines, lies.
Wilson promised to keep usa out of vww1
Roosevelt secretly maneuvered USA into ww2
Vietnam and Iraq, lies.
Grenada, lies.

Just what comes to mind.

Gore refused until Dec 12.
Gore had a legitimate legal challenge, not make-believe. When the courts ruled against him, he conceded graciously. Not so with Trump, who now contemplates declaring martial law. To compare the two is exactly the kind of naiveté charlatans like Trump exploit (“everybody’s doing it”).

Shall we compare Gore’s concession speech when he lost to Trump’s insane, fact-free rant after he lost? You should.

Trump, to his credit, didn’t start any wars. Neither did Biden, when he was in the White House for eight years.

Trump’s own top advisors have felt compelled to speak out against him because he is a threat to our Constitution. If you think that’s acceptable as long as he doesn’t start wars, maybe your standards aren’t high enough?

I think t is an appalling man.
I'd think you would be satisfied with how bad he
really is without recourse to exaggeration,
falsehood, misstatements nor anything about my character.
It is though chractrristic of the liberal reaction to him, constantly making things up, wild accusations, name calling, and the whole
medley of similar disgraceful behaviour.

As mentioned before, I hope you all return to sanity.

Your response to what I said about "worst "
and the real, gross, substantive lies that led to
war...
I mean i wasnt talking about biden who couldn't
have started a war! Funny bit of dim praise
tho.

Your heart is in the right place, like most Americans. Hope you all are over this soon.

Without mischief & character assassination,
the left would lose steam & half its arguments.
Sometimes we must agree to disagree over
disagreements we don't even have, eh.
Tis odd that the right tends to treat us better.

Youve a nice way of condensing a thought to its essence.
You make me think of a Wyoming rancher i met, who
talked that way.

Thanks. I’m not aware of any exaggeration, falsehood or anything about your character. I agree there is no need for that, and I try not to engage in that.

You speak of falsehood? If I have engaged in falsehood, please let me know. I don’t think I did, so I’m confused why you bring that up.

You brought up Gore, I explained why his case was way different from Trump. Instead of engaging with that, you speak of exaggeration, wild name calling, falsehoods ... without identifying any such thing in anything I actually said.

If Trump deserves to be criticized based on what he actually says, and not exaggeration, I deserve the same treatment - right?

What does this have to do with what I said? Audie brought up Gore. I didn’t dodge that. I engaged with it, and responded with the factual observation that Gore’s response was very different from Trump’s.

Instead of engaging with what I actually said, there is vague talk of “mischief” from “the left” ... which feels to me like mischief itself, to avoid engaging with what I actually said.

Let’s not engage in mischief. Do you really disagree with the substance of what I said, which is that Gore not conceding until Dec 12 is not comparable to Trump’s refusal?

Reference was to the excess of calimny toward Trump.
Esp from the media.
You said nobody failed to concede, so I said gore.
As in somebody. No two things are zactly the same.
Presumably the terrible t will, eventually.

History may find t worst at this, or that.
Plain worst, no way.
The ones who got you guys into wars are all
worse than one who did not.

As for mutual respect here, it beats
not. I like to jump up and down, but you
are not on my list of those I don't respect.
