Trump victory boosts chances for Europe's far-right

"The leader of France's far-right National Front party, Marine Le Pen, says the US election of Donald Trump "shows that people are taking their future back," suggesting that French voters could do the same.

Le Pen says Trump's victory boosts her chances of winning because it "makes the French realize that what the people want, they can get, if they mobilize themselves." Will Donald Trump transform European politics?"

"Indeed, nationalist and xenophobic forces are celebrating. Trump's win represents victory for the far-right's worldview.

Trump is revitalizing the French far-right. He is already affecting domestic politics in France: a Rassemblement Bleu Marine MP, Gilbert Collard, claimed that the French ambassador in Washington should be replaced because he backed the Democratic candidate and apparently "seriously insulted" Trump. In other words, European right-wing politics is trying to capitalize, in one way or another, on Trump's anti-Islam, anti-immigrant, anti-elites, and "nationalist" victory.

Global balance of powers are going to be redefined with the election of Trump," suggested an excited Marine Le Pen, France's National Front leader, in an interview with France 2.

Salvini also posted a picture with Trump, and enthusiastically posted on his Facebook page : "Viva Trump, viva Putin, viva la Le Pen e viva la Lega!" This should tell a lot on the way it is seen abroad"

So we have a far-right Russia, far-right revival in Europe, Far-right American president , right wing house, right wing Senate. It seems Putin Supports all the far-right wingers. What would a far-right America, Russia, and Europe mean for the rest of the world?

Yeah Russia has been making their moves to rig other countries. Cause majority of people and the world are not far-right.

Putin supports far right-wingers (Like Le Pen) but is there anything he can actually do to get them elected. Since counting machines aren't connected to the Internet, do you think Russia could hack or manipulate them in any way?

It's just fascinating what a right-wing united America and Russia will mean for the rest of the world, especially if this right-wing revival in Europe succeeds.

It could become the greatest nightmare the world has ever been afflicted with, but still fascinating nonetheless.

It still doesn't make sense how it happened. You think Putin actually had much to do with it?

America isn't there yet, but Russia is far-right and there is a far-right revival in Europe. Some of Trump's views are far-right...I guess what defines "far-right" is up for interpretation.

Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilder, and Victor Orban have the far-right label
