Trump 'You won't have to vote Again'.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Zelenskyy with two y's - thanks, by the way.
And also not voting against a candidate who
proposes ending elections, whose VP proposes
surveilling women who cross state lines, etc.
It doesn't matter - I'm not in a swing state.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Oh thank you so much! I was hoping someone would ask that question.

Consider the expansion of Schedule F employees. Trump would staff the Government with only people who have sworn an allegiance to him, and if they defy him in even the smallest matters he could fire them and hire someone even more sycophantic. This include staff in the DOJ, DHS, the FBI and the FEC. This are people who have control over how the elections are run. And they would be in Trump's pocket. That is how fascist dictatorships work. Look at Russia.

Remember all the things that Trump tried in 2020 after he lost the election. Remember that he tried to seize voting machines. Remember that he tried to have votes thrown out in large urban centers due to claimed but never proven accusations of fraud. Remember all the baseless lawsuits that Trump filed that the Supreme court rejected. Remember Trump attempted to get the military involved after he lost the 2020 election.

All of the above attempts failed. But after the implication of project 2025 and Agenda 47, and with the current radical right wing Supreme court they would likely succeed. And Trump might even get an opportunity to appoint even more radical sycophantic lunatics to the Supreme Court, and other courts as well.

It is telling that even you cannot possible support Donald Trump unless you completely ignore the things Donald Trump says.

But you ignore this danger at your own peril. I hope that Harris wins this election and you never find out just how wrong you are about this. But you are probably just going to ignore everything in this post and accuse me of having TDS.
Actually I'm just going to be patient. If Trump wins then I'm going to come back and I'm going to point out everything you said here, and show you how wrong you are, or how right you are if I'm wrong.

As I like saying on these matters, time will tell.

But for sake of argument, even if Trump does try to turn the us back into the British crown, you would still need the backing of the military. Otherwise the government is just going to drag him off by his feet kickin and screaming , and put in the properly elected president.

What do you think about Trump ending elections?
And do you approve?
- He's lying.
- He's truthful, but will fail.
- He's truthful, & will succeed.
- He's off his rocker.
- It wasn't Trump....an AI imposter.

Can someone explain as to how exactly that can be done?

Trump is just spouting rhetoric like all politicians do. Anyone with half a brain can see that.

The rhetoric he is spouting is not what you'd reasonably expect from a politician with even a modicum of respect for the Rule of Law.

If a German politician spouted 'Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Fuhrer' that'd only be rhetoric too, right? Anyone with half a brain could see that.

When I looked at the video, it appears he was saying the system is broken, vote so I can fix it, then once it's fixed you won't have to vote anymore because everything will be fixed; but you gotta vote now so I can fix it.

What do you think he means by "you won't have to vote anymore?"

Could Mr Trump be any more clear?
....Vote this time, and ........
'You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.' (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...on-2024-07-27/)

Now what do you think he meant by that?
It sounds like Trump's doctors need to fix his meds.
Perhaps JD Vance will speak to him about the danger of opioids.

Yes, that is exactly what he is saying. If he gets into power in the future he will fix the elections so that he will automatically win.

This tweet form Donald Trump explains what he is thinking.

Trump 4eva

That is what Trump means when he says "it will be fixed". Elections in the U.S. will be fixed the way his buddy Putin has fixed elections in Russia.

Is this clear to you now?
To be fair, he was at a Christian conference, and he was specifically talking to the Christians. I find it comical the most unchristian person on earth says he's gonna fix this country for the Christians.

He was talking to a bunch of Christians telling them if they elect him as president, he will fix all of the immoral problems this country is facing and they won't have to vote anymore because all the problems will be fixed. (as if Christians won't have other things to vote about, and like what he fixes won't be undone by someone who precedes him)

What Mr Trump was telling them was reported already.
To suggest that followers, Christians or anybody won't have to vote again is just connected to Christian 'moral' problems is most dodgy.

Do you believe Trump will "fix all the immoral problems?"

Should Christians (or anyone at all) believe that "all the problems will be fixed?"

For what it's worth, I took him as saying that he would sort the problems that require Christians urgently vote. Trump is an ignorant fool but I'm not sure he's stupid enough to anounce his plans to do away with voting a couple of months before he hopes to be elected.

Are you kidding me? Mr "grab em by the ***? Based strictly on what he has said in the past, I think Christians should consider Trump the least qualified to fix moral problems.

Trump has a long history of making absurd claims. This is just another absurd claim.

Thanks for taking the time with me. I had you confused with someone else, and thought you were actually defending him, sorry!

I have no idea why that is relevant to Trumps comment. Does it make more sense if he meant in the future only atheists would need to vote?
