His name could've been taken off the list of potential candidates rather than waiting until days before his nomination to bring it up. In waiting, both Kavanaugh and Ford were hurt.
That is a good point. But I don’t think Trump would have gone for that. No one else on the list ever said that a sitting President should not be investigated for anything. No, Kavanaugh was his man and that was not going to change.
