Trump's Cabinet

I feel the same. My wife and I have been having serious talks about heading to Canada if Trump wins.
I think I will just plain give up on the States at that point to be honest.

I'm going to Canada, too.

I hope the USA has a huge economic boom under Trump, becomes the most prosperous land ever and then he builds a wall on the Canadian border and doesn't let you back in. :D

No Bush. The guy is so pathetic he begged people to clap.
He's the Gil Gunderson of politics now.

Fascinating.
I truly love watching all the 'progressives' fulminate & quake in fear at the thought of a Trump presidency.
While I won't vote for him, I appreciate his performance skills, & the reactions thereto.
And he likely wouldn't be as bad as the Hildebeast or Col Sanders.

Btw, Democrats.....would you please do something to prevent Hillary's shoe in?
I'd feel a lot better if she retired from politics. Bernie is better.

“You’re all stupid, racist, and be tolerant like me or I will result in pointless name calling!” – heard it before, it’s like how cults program a constant contempt for the rest of the world. That is how they get the zombie to live in a closet, by the manipulation of constant contempt.

I am counting the days until Obama is gone. He isn't stupid. He is a demagogue. An ideologue.

I would agree with that statement about Obama. Politicians by their nature have to be a bit of a demagogue. But the best example I have seen in the last 20 years is right in front of us. Trump is spouting some of the most asinine, but popular, stuff I've heard come from the lips of any politician.

There is a difference between stupid and a fool. For example, Romney isn't stupid, but he is a fool to try and threaten the IRS on the anti-establishment candidates. Romney is establishment Republican, and the IRS is despised by not only the anti-establishment base but by America. All he has done in the last two weeks has increased the support of Trump and all anti-establishment candidates at both the federal and state level, in fact in it's own way, Romney's remarks of late played a part in Trumps landslide win in Nevada this week on Tuesday where Trump won by 22 points to second place Rubio. Right now, if the RNC were foolish enough to use Romney in one of those emails or snail mails to try and solicit money for the RNC it would be met with disdain and laughed at by the base. That is why Romney will not be on any cabinet position or otherwise in a Trump administration.

We are seeing record turnout by and for Republicans - it is all because of Trump.

However, while the establishment continues to attack Trump, every politician and former politician or office holder and their coalitions at state levels are sending out stories which include their name in a slate for possible posts with the Trump administration. Why?

Because they know Trump is going to bring an economic recovery and a booming ecunomy and jobs. So they want to be on the team to try and get some of the credit.

However, none should be surprised that actually Trump will turn to the brightest leaders in the private and business sectors and not just politicians. So the seats are limited, and many politicians will be disappointed. As for Romney, he has no chance.

In regards to Palin, it was already made known she has no chance for any leadership position on the cabinet or otherwise, this came out early last week.

Calling Carson stupid or a moron can only color the educational failures of someone calling the kettle black. And speaking of black, calling Carson a racist is like some of those Catholic haters calling Mother Teresa a bigot, and I am not a Catholic, I am a Hindu, but neither are a racist.

I am not a Rubio supporter since I support Trump, but no way is Rubio a Bible-thumper like Cruz, even Trump supporters who are called Satanists online on other forums by Trump haters because Trump doesn't go to church on Sundays and because those who do have religious beliefs and support Trump come from a wide range and not just the minority few Protestant sects supporting Cruz, these sort of attacks on Rubio strike a tin ear. It is true, Rubio is courting the Catholic vote but by no means is he a Bible-thumper and this is a mischaracterization.

As to moving to Canada, I myself may retire in Vancouver. But I have a lot of money and can afford it, I don't think some others can since Canada is getting a lot more stickly about getting money out of anyone coming from the US and proof of the ability to contrbute to the economy there or proof of million dollars of assets otherwise, so good luck to that as due to the collapse in oil the declining economy in Canada is spreading out from Alberta to hit B.C. et all. Those who leave to Canada will miss out in the great economy under Trump who currently has the support of the Reagan coalition. Canada is a great place to live for people like me, but increasingly not so for those otherwise.

If you want to go to Cuba, good luck too. Cuba is a horrible place, but I have no doubt Cuba would arrest anyone trying to get into Cuba who is a typical moneyless or homeless type who isn't willing to do back breaking labor. They will take tour groups that pay money to visit, but anyone they think is a lazy case has zero chance to get into Cuba and if they did they would shortly find themself in prison or dead even.

And speaking of Reagan, no one should ever worship any politician or those in office, they will all let you down one way or another, including Reagan (he gave us the first amnesty) but some do manage to get some things right. Over equivalent time frames of the current regime, Reagan grew real per capita GDP 106% faster than Obama. By this time in his presidency, Reagan's performance on real per capita disposable personal income was 157% better than Obama's.

The only economic growth in this country over the past 8 years has been from Federal deficit spending.

I can hardly wait for the mass non-exodus as the Trumpophobes discover that
actually moving to Canuckistan requires effort....& acquiring a taste for poutine.

No. Never been a fan of anchovies of any kind.

But it's best with fresh cheese curd. We have a cheese factory just down the road so I can pick up fresh curd on the way home...
Then you prolly wouldn't like his surstroming & lutefisk gravy either.

Oh come on. Poutine is good stuff.
I didn't know what poutine is. I was always a little afraid to google it, for fear it was something like haggis made with wood beetle grubs or something.
I love that stuff! I've custom ordered it at the restaurant my partner works for without realizing that there is a name for it.

My dad's family were wetbacks. They swam across the St. Lawrence seaway in the twenties, from Sou Saint Marie, to take jobs away from the natives.
They were Irish, go figger.

How did I not know about poutine?

My grandmother thought that saying "eh" was a complete sentence. The meaning to be derived from the tone of her voice.
