TLDL: Trump was given a script to follow where he did not have to lie. But he could not follow it. He lied. He would not admit that the lost. He told people to go home even though they were justified.Video unavailable.
Probably just as well.

So what do they expect insurrectionists to do? Stop the rioting and and sit down and watch TV?
Anyways , a president that speaks his own mind is far better a leader than a president who reads somebody else's script.
Good job by Trump.
That's a thing I like about Trump: while he is a habitual, even compulsive, liar, he's not a sleazy liar, like so many politicians are.So what do they expect insurrectionists to do? Stop the rioting and and sit down and watch TV?

No-one likes a liar. Oh wait, seemingly millions do.That's a thing I like about Trump: while he is a habitual, even compulsive, liar, he's not a sleazy liar, like so many politicians are.
His intentions were always clear for anyone with two braincells to rub together. While he was lying about all the facts, he never managed to lie about his agenda.
You can lie to almost everybody successfully, if you tell them what they want to hear.No-one likes a liar. Oh wait, seemingly millions do.

Not available in Canada, for sure.I was able to watch it. I don't know where you live though.
Was this the one he made the day after the event? If so I have seen it.TLDL: Trump was given a script to follow where he did not have to lie. But he could not follow it. He lied. He would not admit that the lost. He told people to go home even though they were justified.
I cannot listen too much of this either because it makes me want to change my mind about capitol punishment. Oh well, for Trump a lifetime of prison would probably be worse for him.

No, it was actually during the event. He started with statements about stolen elections, the usual and then made wimpy statements about being peaceful and going home. Definitely not a strong message to back off from what he knew was happening. Was this the one he made the day after the event? If so I have seen it.
Nope. Just pointing out an independent thinker as opposed to a political shill with no mind of his own and parrots whatever script is put before him.and the signature of the MAGA pawn
is the willingness to grovel and fawn
Well if the were playing on their phones , then they are not doing much else. Check. They were checking their phones, paying particular attention to anything from Trump.
Part of the problem is what was on his mind when he spoke. He continued making unsupported claims of a rigged election, the main reason for the rioting.

I was expecting the shaman and his bullhorn. This video shows people both rioting, and using megaphones to relay a specific tweet to the crowds:
Cause y'know, not everyone was doing the same exact thing and it's possible to check your phone and riot simultaneously.
