Truth or Dare: Why posting on RF?

Choose the ones you agree with (as many as you want)

  • 01: I never see faults in others

  • 02: I never point out faults I see in others

  • 03: I never get irritated about faults I see in others

  • 04: I see more often faults in others than I see faults in myself

  • 05: I see more often faults in myself than I see faults in others

  • 06: I wish I could switch of "judging others"?

  • 07: I think it is good to want to improve myself

  • 08: I think it is good to want to improve others

  • 09: I think it is good to give unasked advice about faith and/or feelings

  • 10: I try my best to avoid being arrogant or belittling others (incl. faith or feelings)

Truth or Dare: Why posting on RF?

Today I thought "what is the real reason I post on RF?"
a) Improve myself
b) Improve others

Kind of tricky these 2

Why I want to improve myself?
Why I want to improve others?

When does "try to help others" changes into "belittle the other"?
When does "try to help others" changes into "pride or arrogance"?

Would you wish you could switch off "judging others" now and then?
Does it feel better to give advice when asked or when given unasked?
Would you still spend so much time on RF if there was no frubal system?
(giving frubals is the ability to give "like, funny, winner, friendly etc")

Being on RF is a great opportunity for me to learn

POLL about "seeing faults in others/oneself, judging and giving advice"

You are good at that. I got the message from the beginning. Simple and clear. I like it, and probably won't forget it.
I love this line of you too: ~~~~~Just listening to the silence of the shadows of what was the light ~~~~~~~~~

To me the OP is ambiguous. Are you talking about faults in ideas or faults in behaviors?

I think ideas become behaviors in writing forms, yes ?
In the thinking of why one would want to write here ?

Good question, because there are so many sub-forums on RF. Sometimes it's a fine line between ideas and behavior; e.g. when ideas feel like belittling.
When speaking of "fault in others" I mean in their behavior, things that irritate me, giving me the challenge to do introspection "why I get irritated" etc.

What one says is more about ideas maybe, and how one says it is more about behavior; like in above example of criticizing/belittling.

That took me a while, to "get" where you were going with this:)

When humans interact, it's maybe more like an organism
Sometimes I wonder "Is there anything I can call my own?"

"uncross your feet, cuts off the blood-flow to one's brain !"
"There's a lot of affirmations coming !"

Do you mean with this:

"When I stop meditating (crossed feet = lotus) then the blood-flow to the brain is cut off?"
"Which results in lots of thoughts (affirmations)?"

Makes sense to me. Thanks for the hints.

I couldn't affirm any of those statements. :)
I thought I put in a few options that would be easy to affirm for all.
Maybe a good idea to put in 1 option "I can't affirm any of those statements"

Thank you for the feedback
