In the northern hemisphere it is getting getting darker, and cooler. This always seems to trigger a bit of an inward turn for me. Where introspection, journaling, reading and other inner work take the forefront.
Do you find yourself doing the same?
I think it's partly because I stay active in the summer, as I'm outdoors hiking, walking, gardening, etc. I can only stay out so long in the cold weather, even bundled up before I'm exhausted.
But then there is also the fact that dark half of the year is representative of Nature's sleep cycle, as many animals and plants go dormant too. Thus turning Inward.
