LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – After two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were wounded in an unprovoked ambush-style shooting in Compton, an anti-police protest unfolded outside the hospital where both were taken for treatment.

Deputies responded to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, Calif. on Saturday evening where protesters converged outside of the emergency room with some yelling, “We hope they die.”​

The people who are pissed at cops over what they've done bd gotten away with view the police force as a corrupt institution, and aren't considering them as individuals. I didn't say I agree with them. I'm just saying it's not surprising.

When doctors commit injustices? Like what? Racial profiling and the refusal to treat minorities with the same level of care they do white patients? Is that the injustice of doctors you mean? And if they are doing that, why is that okay with you?

You don't know the reasons why those people said that, as another poster mentioned. Yet, is yelling terrible things as bad to you as systemic racism? You don't know why they said that. You don't know their histories, or if they even have some form of a mental illness where they say awful things.

There are plenty of systemic problems in medicine that kill people. For instance, many doctors aren't taught how to diagnose disease symptoms on patients with dark skin.

I guess that depends on how a police force treats its jurisdiction.

I know rude and nasty officers can stain a whole departments reputation for sure. Even if there are a number of honorable officers that practice good policing.
