Keeper of the Grove
Answer either of these riddles, and get frubals!
You have been sentenced to death, but have been given a chance to redeem yourself. They have placed you outside of a room. Inside of the the room is a lighbulb, and nothing else. There are three lightswitches on the outside of the room. Your job is to determine which of the switches turns on the light inside. You may flip as many switches as you want, but you may only open the door to the room once. No light seeps out of the room anywhere. (Be a bit creative )
There are three princes by the bedside of their dying father. He says that to determine the next king, there will be a contest. The princes are to ride their horses to the edge of the kingdom. Once they get there, the owner of the last horse to return will be king. Once they get there, they are baffled. All want to rule, but neither is willing to resort to treachery. They cannot race back, because they would be tempted to go slow and win. If they release the horses, it might take years for them to reach the king's palace again. Soon, they meet some wise men by a river. The wise men say something to the princes, and then laugh. Suddenly, after exchanging glances, the princes hop on the horses and start galloping back to the palace.
What did the wise men say to them, and what did they do?
