U.S. Atheists Know More About Religion Than U.S. Christians

Yes, and i also have had discussions with christian pastors who wer not rational. That said, i yet claim to believe the bible.

But heres my thing, everytime i discuss with atheists it always happens, they say stuff like this:

Your stupid

Your ignorant

Having been on RF for a few years now, I can honestly say that very few atheist have said these words to anyone. They may very well have implied it in their response, but the same is true of the responses of many theists.

Heres why its so darn annoying. Because THERE the ones who are trully the dishonest, unrational and biased and ignorant ones, yet i wont even spit that out my mouth at them, they will be always the first to toute it at me. They are these things, yet project it on me, which ANGERS ME and it WASTES a bunch of time. It distracts from the content of the subjects. And through that process, i learn crap all from them.

Thats why its so dang annoying.

Then wouldn't ignoring them be the solution to your annoyance? Sure seems that way to me. Reserve your conversations for the choir or at the very most, us agnostics.

Just look at the resurrection thread. 50 something pages. I dont know how many times i was called dishonest, not implied dishonest, but outright called it. And, its not true, i know im honest.

Also the recent thread i made about clarification of the rules. Its even on there. Of course i fired back, but i never started it.

That would make sense yes, the reason i havent, YET, is because i gauss im giving them a chance. But, there taking advantage of it.

Correction, you believe that you are honest. If you knew it you could demonstrate it and an inability to admit that one is wrong when demonstrated to be wrong multiple times would harm that claim of yours.

And your failures to be honest were in regards to that debate only. It was not a general statement. Misrepresenting the discussion is also not proper.

And technically most agnostics are atheists. Agnosticism is what one knows or does not know, atheism is a lack of belief, not a statement about what one knows.

Ok, well, stupid and ignorant, or dishonest, all of them are ad hominum. I just think people should stick to the points. And i noticed subduction responded above, im not replying to him, im totally done with him.
