"WASHINGTON — A U.S. Secret Service (USSS) agent accidentally shot and injured himself Saturday evening. He is expected to survive.

According to USSS, the agent was on duty during the "negligent discharge" while he was handling his weapon shortly before 8 p.m. in the area of 32nd and Fessenden streets Northwest. His injuries were not life threatening, and the officer was taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. USSS says no one else was injured in the incident."

Same!

How on earth does a secret service agent have a negligent discharge, let alone get injured by one... And he's supposed to protect someone?! Scary
Reminds me of the old Wild West Tales were the guy pulls out a six shooter puts his iron back in the holster and shoots his toe off.

Um...
Because he is still human?

Eh.... Naaah. People don't cause injuries by negligent discharges unless they don't respect their firearms or the people around them. Even with firearms that are more prone to negligent discharges, one should be very very sure not to allow that to ever happen. People who aren't aware of these things or don't respect their firearms shouldn't have any imo. No excuses

If not human, what is he?

On a serious note (don't tell no one)
I actually agree.

How long before MAGAs will claim this was a third assassination attempt on Trump?
Probably as long before the left wing finally figures out there actually was 2 assassination attempts made on Trump's life to date.
