the UK is approaching that time again where we do our duty and vote for our local government.... ok, maybe loads of people don't vote, but i think they should :p

anyway, im 18, and i can vote :woohoo:

but, sadly, i am ignorant of what each party in the UK stands for in the local elections.... anyone got any good sites they can point me to?

thanks in advance ;)

Well it really is totally dependent on your area. You should get people from the 3 main houses coming round to your house with leaflets unless you happen to live in a "safe" spot. Find out which parties have people running for the seat in your area and find out these candidates' names. They are likely to have personal websites designed to guide people through their campaign so just google the names.
