UK loses AAA credit rating following Brexit

UK loses top credit rating from S&P - BBC News

Thoughts? I feel like it's a bit premature really, it hasn't even been a week since the referendum, shouldn't S&P have waited to see if the markets stabilised and where the UK was after a few weeks, rather than so close to the result at a time of great uncertainty and panic? Perhaps I'm just ignorant though and these sorts of reactionary flash down-grades are common.

I think they didn't wait and see because they are wanting to punish Britain for leaving the EU. The thought of Britain becoming independent no doubt ticked them off.

If your friend announces he's going to quit his job, wouldn't you be less keen to loan him money before he finds another?

It's mostly bogus. Vast swathes of loot didn't fly out of the UK because they made a vote, and they haven't even launched the process yet. It's the NWO trying to push someone around, and that is about it. I mean, they are still in the EU, so nothing ACTUALLY changed other than the fact that a vote was cast.

Not true. The probable future changed... and that's all a credit rating is about, when it comes right down to it.
