Saw the pilot of Under the Dome on Tuesday night.

I actually preferred the Simpsons' version of the Dome.

Haven't seen it, but I read it. I like Stephen King, but it was silly. Between the genius, King writes quite a lot of silly. It's a pity they didn't choose a better book.

I tried to DVR the pilot as my first foray into such technology, and as luck would have it, we lost power for about 6 hours that night.

I took that as a sign that it just wasn't meant to be.

I don't know if I'm going to watch the 2nd episode. All I know is that if I miss it, I won't be disappointed.

I gave up on the series - Arrow - after 5 episodes. Under the Dome will be a new record.
