unification church (moonie)

hello,

im an member of the the unification church or as we are liked to be called im a moonie.
i would be interested what your view of our church is and why?

Okay well firstly that explains so much when I first mentioned the Unitarian Universalists to my mum and she shot back with "oh you mean the moonies" which confused me to no end.

I only came across the unification church a couple of days ago when, surprisingly enough, I was doing a google on world unity. However, it wasn't what I was looking for so I didn't read into it very much, perhaps you could enlighten me on your church, danhin.

I haven't really heard much about moonies, but I've never met one so I can't really say anything one way or the other. What I have heard hasn't been flattering. Perhaps you could enlighten us on what you believe and why you believe it.

I know it was founded by Rev. Sun Myung Moon in South Korea sometime in the 1950's or 60's and that they perform mass wedding ceremonies. That is about all I know of them.

the unification church was founded by rev. moon. hes main teaching is the "divine principle" which he wrote in the 1950s. he has ever since thought the importance of family.
its difficult to explain the divine principle over the internet, it explains different things ina way they have never been explained before. it explains that adam and eve didnt sin by eating a fruit, it explains what jesuses true mission was and different things like that. the main thing that isthought is that eve commited sexual sin with the archangel and then with adam and trough that humans were disconnected from gods blood-lineage and instead inherited satans blood-lineage. god tried to restore it trough jesus, which means hes mission was not to die
on the cross but to have a true wife to represent eve and create a family which had gods blood-lineage. but he was killed before he could fulfill this mission. now rev. moon has
come to restore gods blood-lineage. thats why we are thought to keep our virginity until
we are married with gods blessing, so that we wouldnt disconnect ourselves from gods blood-lineage.
