Unite the Churches

I don't understand why the Churches that most accurately match the authority laid out in the Bible are scattered and divided amongst nationalities. Such as the PCUSA and the Church of Scotland. Why not unite such churches at least in a form such as a convention to decide upon how to best spread the Good News and distribute funds for public use?

I have to run to work so don't think I'm limiting this to Presbyterians there's a lot of denominations I mean just I used that example.
