Universal Body

Why do you think a visual description is the most relevant?

We don't know the large scale shape of the universe (whether you want spatial cross sections of the whole four dimensional structure). But, locally, space seems to be very close to flat except for effects of gravity.
so really there is enough form? A form isnt necessary?

Lol I never made any claim of people inside you but some carry parasites that alter their being.

Actually, everybody contains ‘parasites that alter their being’. Hundreds of billions in fact. Without them you cannot function.

Your brain has a microbiome like your gut does, and requires a variety of bacteria to function.

Of course the universe has a "Body" we are within it. What lies past that edge who knows.
Curved space, Absolute nothing beyond it, that is where it came from and that is where it will go back.
And what is it's form?
Either this or that for all we know.

This is a religious assertion without evidence.
This or that is neat graphics nothing more.
1. I do not think so. The reason is that if we take anything as eternal, whether the universe or Allah (since you are a Bahai), the question will remain as to from where the universe or Allah arose? So, the only option is to speculate that the universe arose out of some Quantum Quirk in 'Absolute Nothing'.
2. This is one of the possibilities. Of course, the final word is still out (perhaps not in your or my life-time).

I've been thinking about the flat shape of the universe. We see pictures of the universe as such now. It has changed from eternal and everywhere in infinite directions (I suppose it could have been designed as round or rectangular. I don't know.)

I think the above shape is correct, but the labels are not as well as the time. The universe is expanding in a vector direction and in all directions equally. If we look as it from the end, then we can see that the universe is flat. All the stuff inside is Planck constant, Higgs field, boson, the stars, planets, moons, black holes, and more. I agree about the gravity and think this is the overall description except the labels are not. What do you picture?

In the above diagram, the universe looks elliptical, too. What do you think i

It has a form the way the creator and designer designed it. For example if it was shaped like a basketball, then it would be stretched out in a sphere. If it was rectangular, then it could stretch out in the shape of a rectangle or parallelogram. According to Bible theory, it is stretched out in the shape of a canopy that protects what is inside. However, I would bet dollars to donuts that this is not what secular or atheist scientists would say. I think they'll agree that the universe is flat.

Does the universe have a physical body and/or form?
Hypothesis: the universe is material, in human terms.

Requirements:
1 common housebrick (squared edges)
1 flat concrete floor.
1 foot of your own (either will do)

Demonstration:
a. Remove shoe and sock. Place foot on concrete floor.
b. Take common housebrick.
c. Raise common housebrick to chest height.
d. Drop common housebrick on foot.

:D Bible theory or rampant imagination? They were not talking of the universe but of the Earth that it is flat. As for the shape of universe, we do not know. In 'Manifold' (many dimensions), it can have any shape. Hindus saw it as an egg, Brahmanda (anda being egg).

OK, you do not think so, or maybe think so, but not meaningful beyond what you 'think so,'
From the perspective of belief the 'Source' some call God(s) maybe millions is eternal. It would remain a matter of belief whether there 33 million or one.

So, the only option is to speculate that the universe arose out of some Quantum Quirk in 'Absolute Nothing'.

Some Quantum Quirk? How ridiculous and simplistic. Contradiction and a lack of knowledge of science. The concept of 'absolute nothing' is an old philosophical concept. There is no basis nor evidence for 'absolute nothing' from the scientific perspective. From the scientific perspective the Quantum World and Natural Laws are simply the eternal Cause. From the Baha'i perspective these are simply reflects the attributes of the 'Source' some call God(s)

Yes and no, the final word is still out and likely never determined from the human perspective.

What does the form look like?

Like a big balloonish bubble of space-time rapidly expanding into what-can-seemingly-only-be-called "nothingness".

That's about the best I can come up with though.
But then again, my mind is hardwired to think in 3d.

And I figure that actual reality might be a wee bit more complicated then that.

I posted the graph and you couldn't figure out the universe was flat?

Instead of using low brow internet atheist stereotypes, you should actually read the Bible.

Name calling does not represent a coherent argument. Personally I have read the Bible, and it is no help when comes to the science of the nature of our physical existence.

- My belief is not intended to be important beyond me. The whole of my extended family is theist. So how does it matter?
- Normally, things are very simple. Relativity for example. We make it complicated by adding such Allah, sons, messengers, prophets, manifestations and mahdis, even when there is no evidence. I have already agreed that the final picture is not available, and it probably is not likely to be available in my life-time. Why should we invent an Allah and his manifestations?
- The last is a presupposition. Science will keep on working on that.

I know but thanks for showing how a parasite can live a symbiotic relationship with it's host. Amen brother love.
