Do you know who Hannibal Lector is? He was a psychopathic serial killer and also a brilliant, highly intelligent and cultured psychiatrist. Yes, all those attributes can coexist within one person.

Cultured has little to do with this. If one can appreciate the finer things in life such as opera, poetry, high art, and be able to use words in such a persuasive fashion as Hitler did, he can verily be described as cultured.

From Cambridge dictionary:
A cultured person has had a good education and knows a lot about art, music, literature, etc.
