They really are on a whole different level then the rest of the competition. Maybe Japan will give them a challenge in four years after they get more experience. Or maybe one of the European teams will kick it up a notch. In any event, well done USA.

I do think there is some misplacement dialog regarding objecting to the equal pay for women on sports events. There is a supply and demand issue where more people watch men sports than women. Events with more viewer pay more.

The US women have drawn more revenue than the US men during the past two years. BUT, the pay comes from the purses of the major tournaments and the women’s tournaments just aren’t as popular as the men.

And that's the point. The case that payment for spectator sports is discriminatory isn't clear.
In this case probably better to work on showing numbers and negotiating than protesting and doing creative advertising.

It's a type of category confusion. Hourly or salaried 9 to 5 verses spectator performance.

Representatives need to get access to financial records. Without that people can still fail in negotiations or be conned. Also the records will clear up difference between sustainable revenue and "shot in the arm" revenue.
