Uu re...

blackout

Violet.
At Storm's suggestion I (finally :p) brought my 10 year old son to UU RE today.

He liked it well enough that he wants to go back,:D lol
and I sat in with his little group today
and got something (in the manner of personal empowerment) out of it myself.

IALAC. I liked it.

I did know someone there, who I haven't seen in a number of years,
and
no one seems to have any problem whatsoever that my son attend RE,
without me actually joining the church myself.
They also have no problem with my sitting in on their services
whenever I feel the particular speaker/subject may interest me,
or participating in things with my son.

They are making it very easy for me to participate with my son,
without putting any expectations on me mySelf.
I REALLY appreciate that.
It's a nice middle of the road for me
and gives my son what he seems to be needing/wanting.

He is very interested in knowing about people's religions,
and is church curious,
but does not want to "be religious", or join a religion persay.

So anyhow thank you Storm for your RE suggestion,
and all of you for your encouragement. ;)

~Violet~
