Oh yeah I saw that. I denounce such actions. But the rebel in me secretly gives a small thumbs up. Down with establishment!!!

Vandalizing homes is not cool. A sit-in by people who face eviction, or in their names, might be more effective.

Vandalism appears to be becoming a popular form of protest again, and I wonder if it has to do with fear about what could happen at in-person protests like a sit-in.

Don't they have any kind of security at their private residences?
You would think. Sometimes the homes are bought for investment reasons and the owner never actually lives there. Not sure if that is the case though, the article dosent specifically point it out although I'm going by the assumption that the owners personally use the residence.

I hope all involved will be caught and pay restitution for this uncalled for damage.
Enh. Sure, I guess, but it's pretty far down my priority list.

Yeah, they probably shouldn't have done it, but I have more sympathy for the people who are going to be evicted because of Mitch McConnell than I do for Mitch McConnell.

The innocent real estate improvements did nothing wrong,
& shouldn't be punished for political disagreements with
the occupants. I'd use body paint to write my message
on the person...with their permission, of course.

Along with the anarchy symbol, the messages do sound like how the right often likes to stereotype others. "Where's my money?", "I want it all", etc.

Non-anarchist question: what's wrong with the anarchy symbol they painted? The horizontal line doesn't go all the way across the circle?
