Vedanta Sutra, Brahma Sutra

1.)

I'm interested in the text of Vedanta Sutra/Brahma Sutra, not of a commentary on it but of an original work,
is there a pdf or some website you could recommend?

2.)

Could you please briefly describe some historical background how and why this work came to be,
after thousand(s) years Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, Atharvaveda, and Upanishads, needed a commentary?

3.)

Are Upanishads originally part of Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda, or are they actually separate, additional texts?

---

Thank you. Regards.
