Veganism: The first step to joining ISIS

To start off: I am a vegan, a filthy, grubby, hippie, wild haired, beard neanderthalish vegan and I LOVE it.

Also I could not find a better place to put this story in because it is so ridiculous I just had to tell it despite how laughable it is.

When I first told my step mother I was a vegan I though it was no big deal until she gave me the funniest stare and started acting weird after that. I never thought about it because she is weird anyways and very demented. But weeks laters she brought up a topic and asked me why I had to be a Muslim, and I was shocked at why she would think I was a Muslim and say it so blatantly and it turned out that she thought that Vegan and Muslim were synonymous and that Muslims don't eat meat o_O.

Of course I had to set her straight and let her know I was an atheist and then she went on a laughable discussion about atheists being able to eat anything and that I was trying to join ISIS and be with the other "vegans." She then told me that I did not know what I was doing getting involved in such a religion (veganism) and that vegans are on the news everyday committing terrorist attacks. I tried informing her more on what a vegan is and she then told me that she knows more about vegans that I do.

Of course after some on going months and months of back to back arguing she gave up. It eventually took the whole family to give her a discussion on what a vegan is.

What is up with this person? Either they never listen to nobody, or y'all are just terrible at explaining! :p

She is a self induced imbecile. When my stepfather died she did not have anybody to put her under control. She refused to acknowledge people her whole life including her own family and it put her in her own little world. She could have psychological issues but this is not the whole matter I would say.

Out of 9 aunts/uncles she and one of my uncles are very pathetic people while the others went on to do good in life.

7/9 is 78% coming up good, that's not too bad!

Now I may not be a fan of veganism and the whole vegan mission thing, even my tie-dye, Grateful Dead, flowers-in-the-hair self (can't a girl have two styles?) can't be brought to get behind it, but this is just bad! ISIS? Really? My god I don't know whether that's more funny or sad.

There is a mission in veganism? OMG! I have been lied to! I though I just had to nibble on apples all day!
Those darn vegetable munchers!

The situation described in the OP seems to travel quite a lot between absurd and ridiculous, back and forth.

As a vegan terrorist, I agree with her, we're dangerous; we make people question their own morality, which is clearly a bad thing in this world. :p

I'm fine with people being vegans, but I don't get politics into my dinner arrangements -- life is too short. I'll eat anything I feel like eating, as long as it doesn't get away. Vegans don't annoy me as much as all of the "other things" they're into. :D

Well if by "other things" you mean fornicating with watermelons then I am afraid that you are missing out!

*slowly rubs lettuce against watermelon*

Far be it from me to criticize your living arrangements, but as long as the watermelon consents I see no problem. :)

Vegans should learn to do tricks with their food. They should juggle apples and stuff enormous numbers of grapes into their cheeks, and they should be able to slice a cucumber very rapidly.
