She told me she was sitting in relief society a couple weeks ago when a sister was bearing her testimony, and a few other women taked about some experiences. That she almost cried because she felt so greatful for the gospel and the church. Nothing else could have brought me more joy right now.

My wife has been taking the missionary discussions the past few weeks and she has been reading the Book of Mormon every day for the past couple of months. and she set a date for baptism.

February 9th!!!!! we have to wait till my time is up so i can baptise and confirm her a member myself, Both her and I want myself to do it.

Wow, that would be so great to be able baptize your own wife. It will bond you two in a very profound way I would think.

Pray for her so nothing will hinder her progress, our adversary would like nothing more than to put as many "stumbling blocks" in her/our way as possible, especially in these last days when His coming is so very near.

Prayer gives Satan a black eye.

Yes, i see it, and she sees it too, getting upset over absolutely nothing. having ashort temper over idiotic crap. It happens when we don;t regularly read the scriptures, and pray every day, morning and night.

The week the elders got her to promise to pray about the Book of Mormon, she all of a sudden didn;t feel well, she didn;t want to do anything, she didn't want to read the Book of Mormon, she didn't even want to o to church the next sunday and she even wanted to cancel the Missionaries meeting. (By the way She loves it when the missionaries come over. She always talks about how happy she feels after they leave) All WAY out of character for her. so i talked to her and she didn't know whya nd she didn;t have a valid reason. I told her it's satan's way of trying to keep you from the truth, he doesn't want her to make this step, this descision, and he's going to throw everything, including her own family at her to try and stop her. She nodded, then smiled, hugged me, and that night prayed about the Book of Mormon.

How far do you think Satan would go to affect your lives, to steer your wife away from the truth? I can see his influence in people who cringe and become hostile when someone starts to talk about the gospel...because how can people react so badly towards something so positive? In your case, however, he takes the cap off your tempers and ignites arguments that should never have turned into anything at all. So, how far do you think he'll go and what do you think his next step will be?

I guess the reason I ask is because I've heard someone mention the same thing once, and although I believed it, I didn't quite understand the extent of it. I know he doesn't want anything good for us, and that if we ever side with him he won't have our backs...but I can't imagine what means he would have in bringing us from a state of happiness to one of sorrow.
