The recently-released video game Mortal Kombat X allows players to use the Xenomorph and Leatherface as warrior-avatars.

Could such 'transcriptions' inspire movie scripts?

I think I lost even more respect for Mortal Kombat for seriously depowering the Xenomorph like that. Granted there are some god like characters in MK, but Kano? Johnny Cage? The Xenomorph would rip most of the MK cast to shreds without even trying. Ripley had a big machine. Sonya

It would be interesting to do a violence theme and content (graphics, etc.) comparison of the yesteryear's action-oriented video games such as Contra, Strider, and Ninja Gaiden to today's celebration of of graphics-drilled video games such as Mortal Kombat X, Arkham Asylum, and GoldenEye.
