Dark Valkyrie...what's not to love?
I just bought Season 3. I am going to watch some of it. If you do not hear from me it's because I am going to Pillage. Anyone else here like the show? It's my second favorite.

I wish they had started it in an earlier Viking age, - before contact with Christianity, - but I still like it, - even if some of this "history" comes from Christian sources.

I watch it, & find it entertaining.
But it's not in my top 10.
(Btw, big brown bears are not so easy to kill.....even the rare winter bear.)

I like it for fantastical entertainment but don't take it seriously for accuracy. It's a nice break from real life day to day with all the weak, entitled, cry-baby folks we have running around nowadays.

@Strategic Philosopher -You really need to get caught up. It gets better and better. Like when the Illuminati and goblins do battle. The part where Floki gets decapitated but keeps on fighting for 3 hours and 43 minutes only to slip on some ice and breaks his legs...priceless. Ragnar falls in love with a Christian Martian, and Stalin shoots lighting bolts from his eyes.

Joking aside I love this show. My family came to the USO from Sweden. I also have Native American blood in me because my Great Grandmother was full blooded Native American.

They may do that someday. It's not outside the realm of possibility.

I'm a fan of the show. It's got good character development, and I find it interesting to see how the landscape of character relations changes. It's like Game of Thrones or House of Cards, but easier to understand.

Its fun. The sacking of the monastery in Season 1 is still the highlight of the series.

Also its amazing how they managed to fit in an asian actress in a story about the early Viking age. America.

PS: If they also turn Ragnar into a Christian then the "HISTORY"-channel has to end.

I am on disk 3 of 3 of Season 3. Episode 2 of that disk. I may finish the rest before I go to bed. Do not know but if you have not seen Season 3 DO IT! So many twists and turns. So much to keep you guessing. Season 1 and 2 do not hold a candle to it. I cannot wait until Season 4 is on DVD.
