I think the Portland one was a test run. When they saw anti-fire protection, they knew they'd have to disable it at the Vancouver one. The Vancouver one has a close race that could flip the House of Representatives, with the challenger friendly to the Proud Boys and Trump. The challenger is the one who "primaried" the previous GOP rep for voting to impeach Trump, but he lost to the now incumbent democrat in a very close race.

They were about an hour apart, both boxes had incendiary protection, (sad to see that they had already thought of this) it worked in one, not in the other and they used the same incendiary. There may have been an earlier trial run but these were probably one person/group driving from one to the other. We shall see.
