Want to become a Jedi?

I want to keep practicing my Photoshop skills over the course of the summer. It gets boring editing your own and your friend's pictures after a while. So ...... i'm generously offering my Photoshop photo editing / manipulation services for those you who request them. I can do just about anything with Photoshop, but the most popular thing i've been doing for my friends is giving them a lightsaber.

If you want to be a Jedi or a Seth holdin a lightsaber of the color of your choice, send a good quality picture to my e-mail at [email protected] with a Jedi pose and the small requirements for this to be do-able which are listed below.

1. Must be a good - excellent quality picture.
2. Must be holding some kind of a lightsaber handle shaped object, such as a small flashlight, use your imagination! From then on, I can add the actual glowing thingy to the top. You can pose however you want, customes optional. :)
3. The direction of the handle/imaginary lightsaber has to be pointing any direction in a straight way. This means you can't be getting ready as if to swing a bat, pointing the tip towards the back, as I would have to distort the actual light on the lightsaber and it complicates things.

Well, let me know if you do. Send the picture to my e-mail address and leave a quick post here to let me know to check my e-mail and allow a couple of days to finish.

HAHA!! This was the first thing I learned with PhotoShop!! Me and some friends filmed a Star Wars fanfilm, and used photoshop for the cg, saber, and blaster effects. I'm glad you have discovered the great tool that is photoshop!!

I was going to attend a class on how to use photoshop, but I had to do something. It was so long ago I don't remember what.
Ill get a picture of myself and send it to ya. Ill want the saber to have a silver beam.

I find the best way to learn any program, is to just mess around on it. I don't read manuals either, too boring. Messing around is much more fun. :D

Same here - everything about computing that I have learned has been by error & error (oops I think the first one should have been 'trial'). The funny thing is that Marie and I have enroled for a six month course on computing - mostly using Microsoft office (one section for each part of office) - it is amazing how many basic things I didn't know though!:)

Ooooo.... I look forward to when I can sign myself up for this! (Has always wanted a blue lightsaber, if nothing else to open difficult jars with.)
